The Challenge
Jobcenter clients are a large user group with many different needs based on language barriers and more. So the first challenge was to integrate a wide range of user needs and make the app easy to use for everyone. The second challenge was to make a service app with often dry or frustrating topics a little bit more positive in its overall feel.
02
The Solution
We optimized the user journey as well as the overall structure and navigation of the apps services. Based on testing and user interviews we created a super simple and accessible UX. Combined with a creative concept and the smart idea of using genderless jelly characters to communicate on the site, we created a more positive overall feeling when using the app.

Our Approach
Accessibility! All components should be usable by all users, including people with different disabilities. When designing for accessibility, we considered four main areas of disability: Vision, Hearing, Mobility, and Cognition. Components can be used with the keyboard alone, can be read together by screen readers, and provide semantic information. In addition, the web-app can and will work without colors. The new Jobcenter web application is all about real social impact. With a better UX and the empathetic jelly characters as guides, we had a direct impact on the daily lives of the users - the Jobcenter's clients.
We work with companies all around the world
